BioErick Manana is an acoustic guitarist, singer and songwriter from Madagascar, known for his performances in the ba-gasy genre, which gained prominence in Madagascar in the 1930s.
Manana began learning guitar and singing from his grandfather at the age five, and later moved to France in 1979.
He began his professional career as a musician in 1982, and has recorded several albums and collaborated with various artists. He has received numerous awards, and has been described as the "Bob Dylan of Madagascar".
